when I saw the name St.John's Infants pop up on the phone I'll admit I was scared. I thought she's shout, or tell me off, or....who knows! Ms J is an old school head. She runs the school just like my head ran my primary school all those years ago. Very strict! Anyway her phone call was just what I needed. I was having a moment (again) where I felt panic "what are we doing?! What if they miss out on anything!? etc" She was so reassuring and comforting. she spoke so highly of my boys and of Phil and myself as parents...brought a tear to my eye and made my day. Ms J. also said if we ever change our minds, or circumstances we are more than welcome back at her school. She gave me an open door policy, come in and have a chat if you're ever feeling overwhelmed or need advice. Phew! What a relief!!
That call gave me the motivation to carry on with my lesson plans and prepare for the first day of homeschool.
